I stumbled upon the image below of actor Sylvester Stallone a few days ago, and was initially quite bothered. Actually, I’m still bothered. Aside from the fact that Rambo is seen striking a very questionable pose similar to that of a Victoria’s Secret mannequin, the 62 year-old has got more veins running across his almost nonexistent navel than I do my entire body. It’s quite jarring. Nonetheless, in a matter of days, the temporarily tattooed icon will begin directing The Expendables, a film, in which he’s also set to star, following a lethal group of mercenaries hired by the CIA to overthrow a South American dictator. Compelling… Even moreso, is the reported cast. Rumored co-stars include Jet Li, Jason Statham, Sir Ben Kingsley, Randy Couture, Dolph Lundgren, and, of course, Oscar nominee Mickey Rourke. Colour me intrigued (and somewhat confused)… It’s just too bad Arnold couldn’t be a part of this action extravaganza.
