Exclusive: Robin gets backhanded

“Christmas is, what, 10 months away? It was a silly move on [Robin’s] part– Batman’s been on edge all week“, Commissioner Gordon told reporters last night regarding the pictured incident, when the caped crusader was seen pimp slapping the boy wonder just outside Wayne Manner. Sources say Robin foolishly asked whether or not Batman knew what his parents were going to get him for Christmas, and Batman, in a fit of rage, slapped the boy across his face, serving to knock him completely unconscious. Whether or not Robin was actually joking has yet to be confirmed or denied. However, you’d think Robin would’ve realized just how touchy a subject this could be for someone, what with his own parents having fallen from a sabotaged trapeze and all. Neither Batman or Robin were available for comment. According to reports, Robin has chosen not to press charges.
